We are Progression Activewear Ltd (referred to as 'we' throughout this notice).

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you interact with us by visiting or making a purchase from www.progressionactivewear.com (the “Site”), using our customer support, creating an account, signing up to our newsletter, interacting with our social media or taking part in a competition.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site, this helps us to improve the overall Site experience for you. 

We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally, when you interact with us, we may collect collect certain personal information from you, including your name, gender and date of birth, billing address, shipping address, telephone number and email address. Also your marketing preferences, product reviews, comments & feedback and any data you make publicly available such as your social media handle or other information you may share on public social media platforms.

If you make (or attempt to) make a purchase on the Site then we will also collect a limited amount of payment card information and other personal details in order to process your order.

We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

In most cases the information we collect is information that you have knowingly provided, such as shipping and billing address details to complete an order. If you contact us via email we will keep records of correspondence and we will keep contact details in order to reply to you.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you, e.g. to process your order or for refunds and complaints, or to inform you of any changes to the service we provide you
  • To verify your indentity for crime / fraud detection and prevention (for example your data may be passed to your bank from one of our payment providers, your bank would then confirm whether or not it is you using the credit / debit card. This is called 3D secure and is used to prevent bank fraud and theft)
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services
  • To manage the account that you may hold with us
  • To administer any prize draws or competitions we may run
  • To comply with any legal rights or duties we have that may require us to disclose your information (e.g. a public or legal authority could request this information from us in relation to fraud or other suspected legal activity)

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics and trends about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

In line with any marketing and advertising preferences you may have shared with us we would like to bring relevant offers and promotions to you. This could come in the form of email, texts or social media.

You will always have the option to opt out of any marketing messages or information and we will never send offers or promotions to you if you have previously opted out. However, if you have opted out of marketing messages we may still need to use your Personal information to communicate with you to fulfil orders, returns or queries.

TARGETTED ADVERTISING

As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. This could be in the form of marketing banners or adverts on some other websites, if your preferences allow this.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share your Personal information with trusted third parties in order to fulfil our service to you. For example, delivery couriers and applications we use to process your order or improve your overall experience with us.

For example, we use Shopify to power the Site allowing us to sell our products to you. Your Personal Information is stored by Shopify according to their data storage policy and is stored on a secure folder with firewall protection. Payments for your orders made on the Site are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and adhere to standards set by the PCI Security Standards Council, which consists of the five major payment brands: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB International. PCI-DSS guidelines and requirements ensure the safe handling of your credit card data when making payments on the Site and its service providers.

We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site and to improve our service to you.   • We only use trusted third parties to perform specific tasks and services in fulfilling orders, or to improve our overall service to you
  • We will only ever provide information required to perform a specific service (for example, delivery address to process your order)
  • Your data will only be used for the exact purpose required (for example, email address to provide shipping updates)
  • If we stop using any third party service your data will be deleted
  • if you request that your data is deleted, this request will be sent to the third party to be deleted

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact details below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

WE DON'T COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CHILDREN

The Site, products and social media are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18 years and we do not knowingly collect personal information relating to anyone under the age of 18.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
